Street Style at NYFW

Last week I had the fortunate chance to be in New York at the same time as New York fashion week was going on. It really was a very well timed trip, and although I didn't actually receive any official invites, I did go down to the Lincoln Centre on Thursday, and joined the clamour of fashion types milling around the square.
I was informed that the show which had just ended was Rebecca Minkoff, and that Janelle Monae was performing - it sounded so amazing.
I took a few photos of some of my favourite outfits I saw outside the centre:

This was by far one of my favourite outfits, the top and skirt are so elegant, finished off with the shoes and the red lipstick this outfit is really quite timeless, and something I would love to wear.

I absolutely love this dress, the print is so perfect, and her accessories work well, the shoes bring out the hints of silver in the dress, tying it all together nicely.

I love this, it's simple, chic and I love the varying shades of blue contrasting with the hot pink lipstick and nails.

I love her glasses paired with her dress, especially with the vintage camera, the whole look has a very  40's Parisian vibe ( at least I thought so)
I love the crop tops and leather jackets here.

Here, I love the gold accessories with the black, simple yet effective.

I love this, the little boucle jacket with the shorts and the chelsea boots create a sweet simple and stylish outfit.

I love the cropped top contrasted with the long skirt, I also love how she accessorized with gold.

So those were some of my favourite looks from New York Fashion Week on Thursday, I had the best time walking round the Lincoln Centre, chatting with people and taking photos, everyone was so nice and it was one of my favourite days of my trip!
(Also I apologise for my terrible photography skills)
